A crushed velvet, midnight-blue resin barrel, gold trim, and the white Meisterstück star all conspire to make the Edgar Alan Poe one of Montblanc's most appropriately designed limited editions. Made only in 1998, it even has a raven engraved on the fountain pen's nib. When asked whether Montblanc will make more when these are gone, we can only repeat the raven's succinct answer: "Nevermore". Only 3,000 sets were made making this one of the more difficult Writers Series sets to find.
