The first issue of the writers series typically fetches the highest price. Not a very impressive design though so the main attraction of this piece is simply that it is the first and oldest piece. You’ll have to get it if you want to complete a full Writers Series collection. Although the ballpens were produced in a large quantity, it is hard to find with with all the original packaging.
